Quang Ngai disburses more than VND 122 billion of unemployment insurance

More than 51,000 workers in Quang Ngai province who are eligible for unemployment insurance have received support with a total amount of more than VND 122 billion. 
Currently, Quang Ngai province has supported more than 800 employees who were suspended the labor contracts and take unpaid leave with an amount of nearly 3 billion VND.
About 86,000 employees are entitled to a reduction in unemployment insurance premiums for 12 months with an amount of more than VND 54 billion.
So far, the Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs sector has settled more than 51,000 workers eligible for unemployment insurance with a total amount of more than VND 122 billion.
Localities supported nearly 700 tons of rice for people affected by the COVID-19 epidemic; supported more than VND 1.2 billion for more than 400 small businesses.
