Program on traditional medicine and pharmacy development in the province

The Plan’s purpose is to develop the traditional medicine in the province; to closely combine traditional medicine and modern medicine in the prevention and treatment of diseases with the aim to raising the capacity and efficiency in people's healthcare; building mechanisms and policies to encourage and attract social resources for the development of traditional medicine, contributing to the construction of advanced and modern medicine in the current period.

By 2025, the province will develop the provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital into a traditional hospital of traditional medicine and rehabilitation at the provincial level; 90% of general hospitals and specialized hospitals have traditional medicine and pharmacy departments; 95% of health stations in communes, wards, towns could implement consulting activities with using traditional medicine in health care.
