PPC's chairman requested to strengthen further fire prevention and control

The Provincial Police is requested to:

• Continually coordinate with media agencies and local authorities to increase propaganda and guide skills on fire prevention and rescue through radio media in residential areas, on Zalo, Facebook.

• Directly propagate, train, guide the construction and organize practice of fire fighting and escape plans for 100% households, people working in multi-apartment housing (mini-apartments), rental service businesses, and collective housing with high population density.

• Preside and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to organize a general inspection and review of fire safety and fire prevention and rescue requirements for multi-apartment housing,  houses with high population density in the province.

• Regularly inspect fire prevention and rescue work according to authority; promptly detect and strictly handle problems and violations (if any); instruct inspected establishments to overcome limitations and shortcomings.

• Strictly implement construction permits for projects, apartments, and service businesses.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Construction to urgently review and advise and propose that the Provincial People's Committee direct the strict implementation of appraisal and construction licensing for projects, especially mini apartments and business establishments.

It will strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with legal regulations on construction for conversion works with high risk of fire and explosion, establishments with large crowds such as karaoke service establishments, markets, shopping centers, supermarkets, apartments, high-rise buildings...

People's Committees of districts, towns and cities strengthen direction and implement well the state management of fire prevention and fighting in the area; regularly inspect and review the implementation of fire prevention and rescue work for establishments with high fire risk and crowded places, such as apartment buildings, hotels, restaurants, markets, and shopping centers, supermarkets, rental establishments, high-density collective housing, industrial parks, high-rise buildings, karaoke businesses, bars, dance halls,...

They urgently review, inspect, classify, and evaluate fire prevention and rescue as well as safety works for houses for rent, multi-apartment houses, and collective houses in the area.
