PPC's chairman directions on the proposal to build Ly Son No.1 Wave Power Plant

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Ingine Pacific One Member Limited Liability Company (Ingine Company) to proactively and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to fully implement the required contents of the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade in Official Dispatch No. 1042/SCT-QLNL dated May 30, 2022.

In the course of implementation, any problems should be promptly reported to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and settlement.

Based on the dossier provided by Ingine Company, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Industry and Trade to consider and request Quang Ngai Electricity Company to urgently coordinate with relevant agencies and units to get opinions officially on receiving, managing and operating Ly Son 1 wave power plant in case Ingine Company hands over the whole plant to the province.  It is requested to complete by June 27, 2022.

The Provincial Military Command has officially commented in writing on the project of Ly Son 1 Wave Power Plant of Ingine Company, and reported it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision. It is requested to complete by June 20, 2022.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People's Committee of Ly Son district and relevant agencies and units in organizing the inspection of the current field of proposed location for construction of Ly Son 1 wave power plant, assessment of the influence of the plant's construction on the environment, conservation of the marine area; complete and report to the Provincial People's Committee before June 20, 2022.

The Department of Planning and Investment shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Construction and relevant agencies, units and localities in guiding Ingine Company to implement the above mentioned contents, synthesize, report to the Provincial People's Committee before June 30, 2022.
