PPC's chairman directions on Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 490/UBND-KTN requesting the People's Committee of Binh Son District to preside over and coordinate with the Authority of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to review and resolve the recommendations of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company in its Official Letter No. 088/2023/CV-HPDQ dated February 3, 2023. 
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Chairman of Binh Son District People's Committee to organize a periodical report once a month and report to the Provincial People's Committee the results of the implementation before the 10th of the following month.
At the same time, the Chairman of Binh Son District People's Committee direct relevant units and People's Committees of communes to drastically and actively implement compensation and site clearance work in Dung Quat economic zone to meet the progress.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company to take the initiative and actively coordinate with the People's Committees of the relevant communes, departments, units and the People's Committee of Binh Son district to resolve the issues existing problems and problems related to compensation and site clearance according to their competence, ensuring the implementation in accordance with the order, procedures and provisions of current law.
Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Production Complex Project was built on an area of nearly 280 hectares, with a designed capacity of 5.6 million tons/year, a total investment of VND 85 trillion, attracting 8,000 employees. It is expected to be completed and put into operation by 2024.
