PPC evaluated the results of digital transformation in the first 9 months of the year

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien highly appreciated the results achieved in Digital Transformation in recent times.

The Steering Committee’s members closely followed the schedule. They successfully organized the Provincial Digital Transformation Week with many contents.

Awareness of officials, civil servants, public employees and people about Digital Transformation has been raised.

From now until the end of the year, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested members of the Steering Committee and departments, branches and localities to focus on completing assigned targets according to functions and tasks.

He asked them to pay attention to investing in information technology equipment to be ready for deploying platforms and applications; accelerate the implementation of digital transformation projects; continue to promote propaganda so that people agree and participate in the Digital Transformation process.

He requested the Department of Information and Communications urgently to complete project estimates related to Digital Transformation for all sectors to complete within the year; early advise and promulgate mechanisms and policies to support the activities of the Community Digital Technology Group.

The Ministry of Information and Communications has chosen Quang Ngai as the pioneer province in propaganda and mobilization of people to implement digital transformation, requiring departments, branches and localities to have specific plans to implement this content well.

According to a report from the Department of Information and Communications, in the first 9 months of the year, the province's administrative procedure information system operated stably, maintaining connection to the national population database.

The province integrated with 09 information systems of ministries and supported login by scanning QR codes on the VNiED application.

In 9 months, the total number of partial and complete online public services of the province approved and shortened time was 973 procedures.

The rate of dossiers granting results of electronic administrative procedures resolution by August 25, 2023 reached 19.31%, ranked 30/63.

Administrative procedures must provide online services on the National Service Portal, reaching 46.75%, ranked 49/63.

Online payment in August 2023 was 44.03%, accumulated until August 25, 2023 was 20.32%, ranked 15/63 provinces and cities.

Quang Ngai is one of 21 provinces/cities that has completed issuing electronic identification accounts and has the highest electronic identification account activation rate in the country, with more than 401,025 high-level electronic identification accounts, reaching 55% of the adult population.

In the last 3 months of 2023, the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee continues to thoroughly develop action programs, and organize the implementation of Resolution 13 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on Digital Transformation until 2025; promote communication to raise awareness about digital transformation.
