Plan to ensure food safety and improve the quality of agriculture, forestry and fishery

The main objectives of the plan are to: ensure food safety; improve the quality of agricultural, forestry and fishery products; contribute to protect the health and interests of the People; and enhance the value and competitiveness of agricultural products meet consumption requirements in the province in the country and promote export.

The targets set forth for 2023

The percentage of agricultural, forestry and fishery production and business establishments have been assessed for conditions to ensure food safety with grades A and B;

At least 98.5% of the total number of establishments being appraised;

100% of establishments rated C are re-inspected;

The percentage of small establishments signing commitments to produce and trade in safe food increased by 5% compared to 2022.

The proportion of samples of agricultural, forestry and fishery foods monitored for violations of food safety regulations decreased by 10%;

Cultivation area, aquaculture area, number of livestock establishments certified with good agricultural practices - GAP (such as VietGAP, Global GAP, organic, etc.) will increase by 10% compared to 2022.

Percentage of establishments preliminarily processing and processing agricultural, forestry and fishery products certified to HACCP, ISO 22000 (or equivalent) increases by 10%/year and 15%/year, respectively;

The rate of deeply processed products (ready-made and instant) increased by 10% per year compared to 2022.
