More Japan-funded six new classrooms in Son Tay district

A non-refundable aid of US$ 85,222, equivalent to 1.99 billion VND shall be funded bythe Japanese government to upgrade Son Long Primary School in Son Tay district, Quang Ngai province.
The signing ceremony for this grant contract was held in Hanoi on 28 February 2020 by Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Kunio Umeda and Acting Chairman of Son Tay District People’s Committee Dinh Quang Ven.
Accordingly, a classroom row with six rooms shall be constructed in Son Long Primary School, using aforementioned funds. It aims to improve studying conditions for students in Son Long commune, Son Tay district, Quang Ngai province.
The project is under Japan’s “Grassroots Grant Assistant Programme” in Vietnam in fiscal year 2019.
Earlier, in 2018, a grant of 76,000 USD under this program was also provided to upgrade a 700-metre road connecting from A Ghe residential area to A Panh in Son Mua commune, Son Tay district.
