Ly Son - Sa Huynh Geopark’s Management Board implements the plan for 2020

​Speaking at the conference, the PPC’s Vice Chairman Dang Ngoc Dzung emphasized that building Ly Son - Sa Huynh Geopark is one of the tasks during the implementation of the 19^th Provincial Party Resolution 2015-2020.

In the upcoming time, Mr. Dzung asked the Board’s members to do their assigned tasks completely. From now to July 2020, localities in the pPlanning of Ly Son - Sa Huynh Geopark need to make more efforts in building infrastructure and facilities; especially public awareness.

At the Conference, Ly Son - Sa Huynh Geopark’s Management Board reviews activities in 2019. In particular, the greatest success was the completion of the dossier and submitted to UNESCO for consideration and recognition as global geological park.

In 2020, the Management Board of Ly Son - Sa Huynh Geopark will continue to coordinate with the Institute of Geosciences and Mineral Resources in preparing documents and zoning the heritage conservation area; working with agencies, localities, departments to implement training, communication activities, community awareness raising and training at schools in the park area.

Besides, the Board will also deploy, construct and upgrade facilities to serve tourists for all 89 stops of 4 geological tourist routes; welcome the delegation of UNESCO experts in July 2020; building and embellishing information centers; zoning off preserving and promoting the value of heritage types.
