In a bid to publicize and spread skills and knowledge about child protection on the Internet, the website to receive child abuse reports was officially launched at www.vn-cop.vn on 22 March by the Authority of Information Security under the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC).

The website includes main sections such as networks, documents, Q&A, aspiration, news, events, tools, and reports of abuse.

“Documents" section shares media publications to raise awareness, skills and experience to protect children in the online environment. Meanwhile, "Q&A" section  helps users to ask questions to get answers about issues to protect children in the online environment.

In the “Opinion Expression” section, users, including children, can raise their voice while State agencies can take their opinions into account in policymaking so as to meet aspirations of the public, especially children.

Updated information about internet safety for children in Vietnam and the world, as well as new technologies developed for keeping children safe online can be found in the “News”.

In addition, the website also provides useful tools and software to help children participate in healthy interactions in the online environment as well as receive reports of child abuse in the network environment via “Reports of abuse” section.

Besides, the hotline 111 operated by the Department of Child Affairs, at the website www.vn-cop.vn, when detecting or suspecting acts and contents relating to child abuse in the online environment, people and organizations can directly report them to the network.
