Investment project on anti-landslide embankment and landscape embellishment on the south bank of Tra Khuc River

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has approved the project of embankment against landslides and landscape embellishment on the south bank of Tra Khuc River, Quang Ngai city. 
The objective of the project is to ensure landslide prevention on the south bank of Tra Khuc River from Tra Khuc 1 bridge to Tam Thuong wharf.
It will create a land bank to expand the park construction space and form a highlight building; create a square space to exploit the advantages of the Tra Khuc River for landscape and tourism development, contributing to establishing an amusement and entertainment space, creating a driving force for urban development.
The scale of the project is newly invested in the embankment with the beginning adjacent to Tra Khuc 1 bridge.
The project will also renovate Ba To park and invest in riverside parks north of Ton Duc Thang street, Ba Trieu street; form highlight works, squares, landscape green systems, paths and utilities for entertainment activities. The land area used to build the Park is about 11.6 hectares. The total investment is VND 380 billion.
It is expected that the project will be implemented from 2023 to 2026, with the Central Governemnt and provincial budgets.
The Chairman assigned the Provincial Transport Works Investment Project Management Committee to organize the project management; fully comply with regulations on management of construction investment projects; strictly manage the project's budget within the approved total investment amount; soon put the project into operation and promote effectively.
