Flood map downstream of the dam

On December 7, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with relevant departments, branches, localities and units to organize a workshop to evaluate on the flood map downstream of the dams in Duc Pho town and 8 districts: Binh Son, Son Tinh, Tu Nghia, Mo Duc, Nghia Hanh, Minh Long, Ba To and Tra Bong. 
The objective of the flood map downstream of the dam, the emergency response plan of 20 large and medium-sized reservoirs.
It will determine the scope, objects, and extent of impact in the downstream area of the dam and measures cope with mitigation of damage during emergency flood discharge or dam failure anticipating the risks of breakdowns of works and equipment, affecting the downstream area and solutions to overcome.
At the workshop, departments, sectors, localities and units focused on analyzing and evaluating response scenarios, people evacuation plans corresponding to each disaster risk situation; resources for organizing the implementation of the plan and responsibilities of management units, organizations and individuals exploiting the works...
On the basis of comments, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development received and completed the content of the flood map downstream of the dam, emergency response plans of 20 large and medium reservoirs in the province to submit to the authorities approved by competent authorities.
