Fishery output was estimated at 151,036 tons

It is reported that in the first six months of the year, fishery output was estimated at 151,036 tons, increasing 1.0% over the same period in 2022, reaching 54.7% of the year plan.
The exploited seafood was estimated at 147,416 tons, raising 1.2% year on year.
The aquaculture production was estimated at 3,620 tons, decreasing 4.4% compared with that in the same period last year,
Shrimp production reached 1,957 tons, reducing 17.5% year on year. Shrimp famer suffered from white spot disease, the infected area was 3.3 ha.
