Exercises to respond to radiation and nuclear incidents in 2022

As planned, the rehearsal will be held at Quang Ngai City Square, time in August 2022.

The drill is expected to: Raise awareness and responsibility of the social community in ensuring radiation safety and security radioactive sources; improve the capacity to respond to radiation and nuclear incidents; minimize risks and impacts on the environment and people caused by radiation and nuclear incidents; contribute to sustainable development socio-economic of the province; improve state management and capacity to prevent, detect and prepare for response to radiation and nuclear incidents in accordance with the province's socio-economic conditions.

It is required that situations during the exercise must follow the content of the plan to respond to radiation and nuclear incidents in Quang Ngai province approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

They ensure efficiency, savings, taking the prevention of the possibility of incidents as the main thing combined with response preparation and timely detection in order to quickly control incidents, minimize consequences for society, people and environment.

The Department of Science and Technology shall coordinate with functional consulting units to develop detailed drill scenarios; organize rehearsals before rehearsals and official rehearsals; send people to participate in exercises and rehearsals; mobilize human resources, means and equipment in service of drills and exercises; evaluate exercise results.
