Ensuring the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic for teaching and learning at schools

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued Official Letter No. 557/UBND-KGVX requesting the Department of Education and Training to develop teaching and learning plan in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic. 
The department will urgently develop detailed and specific plans and scenarios and organize rehearsals to handle situations that occur during direct teaching and learning.
It instructs educational institutions to take measures to ensure safety against the Covid-19 epidemic according to the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training issued together with Official Letter No. 4726/BGDĐT-GDTC dated 15 October 2021.
It will assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Department of Health in, urgently implementing training activities for school medical staff, principals and teachers on the implementation of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic when students back to school directly.
The Department of Health shall assume the prime responsibility for and coordinate with the Department of Education and Training in ensuring that each educational institution has a focal point for a medical institution, which closely coordinates with the educational institution and together with the educational institution is responsible for its expertise in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic at schools.
People's Committees of districts, towns and cities coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to organize direct learning for all grades under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 424/UBND-KGVX dated January 27, 2022.
They direct the educational institution to change the state of teaching organization according to the epidemic level, inspect and supervise the implementation of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control at the educational institution.
