Deploying the project of adjusting the master plan on construction of Dung Quat economic zone

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Authority of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to:

• Chair and coordinate with the Department of Construction, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City, the People's Committees of the districts: Binh Son, Son Tinh, Ly Son and other districts, relevant agencies and units to urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee to publicly announce the General Planning project before March 15, 2023.
• Fully hand over the General Planning project file (explanation + stamped drawing) to the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and localities in accordance with regulations.
• Organize the preparation and submission to competent authorities for approval of the application for planting landmarks according to the General Planning project before March 30, 2023.
• Organize the deployment of marker planting in the field, complete before May 15, 2023;
• Coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities in formulating and submitting to competent authorities for appraisal and approval zoning planning, detailed planning and urban design for functional zones in economic zones according to policy and direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Notice No. 219/TB-UBND dated June 3, 2022.

Quang Ngai City People's Committee, People's Committees of districts: Binh Son, Son Tinh, Ly Son coordinate with the Authority of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks and relevant departments and agencies to develop and submit authority to appraise and approve zoning plans related to the area under management according to the guidelines and direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Notice No. 219/TB-UBND dated June 3, 2022.

The Authority will organize the elaboration of architectural management regulations for urban centers and rural residential areas under their management, and submit them to competent authorities for appraisal, approval, promulgation and publication in accordance with regulations.

Department of Construction is directed to urge and guide relevant localities and units to implement the formulation of plannings and regulations on architectural management, and to set up landmarks in Dung Quat economic zone according to regulations determined.

It will assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with other departments and branches in organizing the appraisal and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the tasks and projects of the subdivision plannings in Dung Quat Economic Zone according to regulations, ensuring completion according to the set schedule.

The Department will monitor the implementation of the overall adjustment of the master plan on construction of Dung Quat economic zone, Quang Ngai province to 2045; promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct in accordance with the objectives and actual situation.
