Completion of the capacity increase of Doc Soi Transformer from 500 MVA to 1300 MVA

On March 02 at the 500 kV Doc Soi Transformer (TBA) substation, the Central Power Project Management Board (CPMB) has cooperated with relevant units to put the machine into operation AT1 (500/220/22 kV - 600 MVA) transformer and related equipment.
They officially complete the project of raising 500kV Doc Soi TBA capacity of phase 1, bringing the total capacity of the Station to 1300 MVA.
The capacity of Doc Soi Transformer Station has been increased from 500 MVA to 1,300 MVA, contributing to major industrial projects in Dung Quat EZ and provincial energy conservation as well.
It will also improve the capacity of electricity supply for socio -economic development of Quang Ngai province; enhance stability; and flexibility in grid operation.
The 500kV Doc Soi TBA Upgrading Project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT).
