BSR isolates 24 Korean experts

Flight VN431 of Vietnam National Airlines takes experts from Incheon International Airport, South Korea on a journey to Danang International Airport, Vietnam.

The flight departs at 11:20 and lands at 14:15 on July 10, 2020.

Previously, the BSR Company sent a letter to the Department of Health of Quang Ngai and the Police Department of Quang Ngai Province asking to support BSR in notifying the Danang Airport and the Department of Health of Danang about allowing entry Korean experts go through Danang International Airport and carry out related medical procedures.

The police and medical forces assisted BSR to supervise the process of moving from Danang International Airport to the quarantine area in Quang Ngai which is the Harmonia Hotel (Binh Dong Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai).

It is the third round of welcoming and quarantining experts to serve the 4th overall maintenance of Dung Quat Refinery Plant which will start from August 12, 2020 to October 1, 2020 (51 days).

Previously, BSR cooperated with related parties to isolate 16 repair and maintenance specialists from South Korea and 46 Malaysian experts.

The 62 experts have not been infected with Covid-19 and have started working at Dung Quat oil refinery.

Reportedly, the overall maintenance work for the fourth time Dung Quat oil refinery includes 7 mechanical bidding packages that need to be outsourced and BSR will take the lead in carrying out 3 job packages.

The overall maintenance phase will mobilize about 350 people from countries such as Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Philippines, USA, Germany, Japan, and South Africa.

The location of the quarantine approved by the People's Committee of Quang Ngai is the Harmonia Hotel and the mechanical workshop collective of PTSC Quang Ngai.
