Apply the Building Information Modeling (BIM) in construction activities

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 1836/UBND-KTN requesting provincial departments and agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities, investors and organizations and individuals to research, deploy and apply Building Information Modeling (BIM) in construction activities according to the provisions of Decision No. 258/QD-TTg dated March 17, 2023 of the Prime Minister. 
The application of BIM in the design process to improve the quality of design products; strengthen the information exchange process between state management agencies in charge of construction, investors, consulting organizations, construction contractors; support the formulation of plans for construction organization, organization and management of resources in the construction process, control of construction quality; support the acceptance process, serving the management and operation phase of construction works.
The Department of Information and Communications researches BIM data storage and management technologies and systems on the provincial data center system.
The Departments: Construction, Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry and Trade research and guide investors on the application content and detail level of the BIM model in accordance with their capacity and capacity the actual situation of the locality according to the sectors assigned to manage.
They review the current regulations on construction investment management that still have problems when applying BIM related to the management field, send it to the Department of Construction to summarize, advise and recommend competent authorities to adjust and supplement supplement (if any).
The Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board shall review and develop reports to evaluate the effectiveness of BIM application for projects and works that have been piloted during the period approved, clearly stating the advantages and disadvantages and suggestions and recommendations (if any), send them to the Department of Construction to summarize and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and direct the implementation according to regulations.
