95% of Quang Ngai people will be vaccinated against Covid-19 by the end of 2021

On August 02, Director of Quang Ngai Department of Health Nguyen Xuan Men said that, the sector is speeding up the progress of vaccination against Covid-19 for people in the whole province. 
It is expected that by the end of 2021, 95% of people aged 18 and over in Quang Ngai will be vaccinated against Covid-19.
Quang Ngai is a locality with Covid-19 epidemic, so the Ministry of Health prioritizes allocating a vaccine source to ensure the achievement of the dual goals of both disease prevention and control and socio-economic development.
Accordingly, from now until the end of 2021, Quang Ngai will be prioritized to arrange about 1.5 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine. As soon as receiving the vaccine, the Department of Health will advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a vaccination plan, ensuring that vaccination is carried out on schedule.
After completing Covid-19 vaccination for subjects according to regulations, Quang Ngai will give priority to vaccination for people in high-risk groups including: People over 65 years old, people with chronic medical conditions and other target groups.
It is expected that by the end of 2021, Quang Ngai will complete Covid-19 vaccination for 95% of people aged 18 and over living in the province.
By August 02, Quang Ngai had completed the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination for 37,067 people, and the second dose for 8,187 people.
