23 Petrolimex crew members were negative with Sars-CoV-2

On March 28 , Mr. Pham Minh Duc - Deputy Director of Department of Health said, Paster Nha Trang Institute has announced the test results of 23 crew members on Petrolimex transport vessel 18. All are negative with Sars-CoV-2 virus.
Previously, Petrolinmex vessel 18, with Vietnamese nationality, traveled from Tanjung Bin port - Malaysia to Ho Chi Minh City and to Dung Quat port on March 27.
As a rule, crew members of Petrolinmex vessel 18 are Vietnamese subjects at risk of Covid-19 infection.
Therefore, 23 crew members on board were taken to facility 2 of the Binh Son District Medical Center to conduct intensive isolation.
Crew members of Petrolinmex vessel 18 are citizens of the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Nam Dinh and Thai Binh.
The Provincial Centers for Disease Control took samples of the pharynx of all these crew members for testing at Pasteur Institute of Nha Trang on the morning of March 28.
By the evening of the same day, test results showed that all 23 patient samples were negative for Sars-CoV-2.
These crew members are currently undergoing health monitoring for 14 days as prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
p to now, Quang Ngai province has collected 58 samples for testing and all were negative.
