12,000 blood units targeted in 2023

The Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has just issued the 2023 Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Plan in the province. 
The plan sets out targets of receiving 12,000 blood units by 2023, which is expected to meet over 98% of the blood volume for emergency and treatment needs.
The content of activities focuses on implementing a communication campaign on the meaning of blood donation to save lives.
It will organize voluntary blood donation campaign 03-04 times a month, each time receiving equal or more blood units assigned the target for the year.
The expected amount of blood received per month is from 900-1,100 blood units.
