“Digital Transformation - For a Better Life”

It is the topic of a digital transformation seminar organized by the Provincial People's Committee, chaired by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien, taking place on the morning of October 7 in Quang Ngai city and connecting online to 13 locations at district, town and city level, 173 points at commune, ward and township levels in the province and Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. 
The seminar "Digital Transformation - For a Better Life" was held in response to Vietnam's Digital Transformation Day October 10, with the main goal of digital transformation to serve people and businesses.
At the seminar, delegates listened to speakers, business owners presented 07 presentations on necessary issues in the current digital transformation roadmap in Quang Ngai.
Speaking at the seminar, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien emphasized that, in recent years, the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Quang Ngai province have always paid attention to directing and promoting IT application, implementing e-Government has formed a foundation for the development of e-government towards digital government at all levels, effectively serving the direction and administration, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management and promoting administrative reform, improving capacity to serve people throughout the province.
The conference is an opportunity to raise awareness and understanding of cadres, civil servants, public employees and people in the province about Digital Transformation, understand about supporting policies to promote Digital Transformation for businesses, a number of measures, solutions and ways of doing digital transformation for a number of industries and fields.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that after the seminar, leaders of agencies at provincial, district and commune levels should continue to strengthen their understanding of the Party and State's policies on Digital Transformation, and orient the content on Digital Transformation of Quang Ngai province, highlighting the sense of responsibility of the Head of Digital Transformation, thereby defining the content of the tasks of Digital Transformation for organizations, sectors, fields and each local level.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that "Digital transformation must start from digital citizens, therefore, a new class of digital citizens must be built to ensure the effectiveness of long-term sustainable digital transformation.
At the same time, the digital transformation process must take place comprehensively and synchronously from provincial to commune level; must take people, businesses as the center, subject, goal, and motivation to carry out digital transformation.
