Tourism is one of the most affected sectors by the Covid-19 epidemic. After the measures to loosen social isolation have been implemented, tourism enterprises are gradually operating again.

On 08 May, the Coast Guard Command coordinated with Quang Nam and Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committees to organize the Program "Coast Guard companion with fishermen" and offered gifts to fishermen in difficult circumstances due to Covid-19 epidemic in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai.

In a bid to remove difficulties for production and business activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Finance has just issued three Circulars No.34, 35 and 36 dated 05 May 2020 reducing fees and costs from 20 – 50% for some fields such as construction, tourism and water resources.

In 4 months of the year, the production of fishery is estimated to reach 89,680.4 tons, increasing 3.5% as compared to the same period in 2019.

These days, the people in the mountainous districts of Quang Ngai province are busy harvesting cinnamon to sell to traders. This year there has been an increase of cinnamon price compared to that at the same time last year. At present, the price for a kilogram of fresh cinnamon bark, dried cinnamon bark and dried cinnamon leaves is 25,000 VND, 55,000 VND and 4,000VND respectively. Thanks to the higher price for cinnamon, local cinnamon growers earned more income.

The Covid-19 epidemic has caused serious damage in many sectors and fields, including tourism. Currently, Quang Ngai provincial authority is preparing appropriate plans to be ready to revive the tourism industry in the coming time.

In the morning of May 04, the Delegation of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee headed by Mr. Tran Hoa - Vice Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited and congratulated the 2564^th Buddha's Birthday 2020 at the in Nghia Hanh district and Quang Ngai city.

On May 03, the Duc Pho district Fatherland Front Committee in collaboration with Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) - Quang Ngai branch organized the program of gratitude rice bank for disadvantaged people affected by Covid – 19 epidemic in Pho Ninh and Pho Van wards.

Quang Ngai Power Company provided 03 tons of rice worth VND 35 million, of which 2 tons of rice for 100 poor households in Son Tra commune, Tra Bong district and 1 ton of rice for ATM of rice of Tran Quoc Tuan Ex-students Association.
