The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1203/QD-UBND on allocating the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period with reciprocal capital from the provincial budget for projects using official development assistance (ODA) and concessional loans from qualified foreign donors.

Over the past years, the socio-economic development of Quang Ngai province has made remarkable progress. Gross domestic product (GRDP) in 2021 was estimated at VND 53,501 billion, up 6.0%. In the first 6 months of 2022, the average GRDP reached US$ 3,360 per capita, exceeding the year growth target. The poverty rate in the province was estimated to decrease by 1%. The rate of poor households in the province’s mountainous areas decreased to 17.82%. These socio-economic achievements demonstrate great efforts of the provincial Party and the government, and the people with great support of the Central Government.

On September 17, the delegation of the Quang Ngai provincial Military Command led by Commander - Colonel Vo Van Ba worked and handed over funding for construction support of military friendship work in 2022 for the Champasak provincial Military Command, Lao PDR.
