MINERALS

Quang Ngai is rich in all kinds of metal, non-metal minerals. There are many mines, hot mineral water spots.

 

1. METAL GROUP

 

Iron ore, aluminum, copper, arsenic, tungsten, molybdenum and gold, but with a small scale.

 

2. PRECIOUS METAL GOUP

 

Quang Ngai province discovered the lithium ore in the two communes of Ba Trang and Ba Kham (Ba To district) in 2000.

 

Surrounding stones are the 2 mica quartz shale of the Kan Nack formation. Scale of ore has not yet determined.

 

3. NON-METALLIC MINERALS

 

Non-metallic minerals of Quang Ngai are quite plentiful, with many valuable items such as precious and semi-precious stones, porcelain materials, refractory materials, technical raw materials and fertilizer materials.

 

4. BUILDING MATERIALS GROUP

 

Geological and mineral survey data for construction materials in Quang Ngai are presented in two forms: natural building materials and materials for construction materials.

 

5. MINERAL WATER

 

Quang Ngai has two hot mineral water mines namely Thach Bich, Nghia Thuan and 7 hot mineral springs namely Da Den, Phuoc Tho, Dieu, Son Mua, Kim Dong, Tu Son and Thach Tru.
