11/08/2022 09:28    77

Early this morning (August 10), Ly Son people suddenly discovered dolphins swimming close to the shore at Ly Son port.

Two local fishermen went into the sea to help them away, but the dolphins continued to swim in, hovering close to the shore.

The fish shows signs of weakness and is injured in the mouth.

Fisherman Nguyen Loc (Village Tay An Vinh, Ly Son), said that it is possible that this dolphin got lost, so it swam very close to the shore, and hovered for many hours despite the fishermen trying to push the fish away.

Meeting dolphins at sea is common for Ly Son fishermen, but dolphins swimming close to the shore are rare.

According to local people, this dolphin is more than 1m long and weighs more than 20kg.

When detecting dolphins, many people expressed interest and went to the port to watch because it was rare to meet dolphins swimming near Ly Son sea.

After many hours of swimming around Ly Son port, by noon this day the fish had swam into the sea and headed out.

Along with whales, dolphins are worshiped by people because they often help people in distress at sea.

Previously, in July 2020, a dolphin 3 m long, 0.7 m wide, weighing 300 kg was exhausted and stuck on the shore on Ly Son island and was buried by fishermen according to sea village customs.
