BSR General Director Bui Ngoc Duong said that ensuring security and safety for the factory has always been focused and is a regular task since the factory went into commercial operation in February 2009.
After 13 years of operation, the plant has produced 80 million tons of petroleum of all kinds, paid $8.3 billion to the state budget.
Dung Quat Oil Refinery is always ready to produce fuel for national defense.
BSR has closely coordinated with the Provincial Police, the Border Guard and the Military Command of Quang Ngai Province to carry out activities to ensure the safety and security of the Factory.
Every year, the Company organizes 10 propaganda sessions for thousands of people and contractors about the security and safety of the Factory with various forms and contents.
The General Director of BSR emphasized: The security and safety situation of Dung Quat Oil Refinery has been stable in recent years.
Currently, the self-defense force of Dung Quat oil refinery consists of an infantry platoon and a 37mm anti-aircraft artillery company.

At the inspection, the delegation highly appreciated that the Company had organized to strictly comply with the provisions of the militia and self-defense law on payroll, and organized a strong air defense self-defense force.
In addition, the inspection team also highly appreciated that the Company has fully implemented the regulations, regulations, plans, and annual training for the self-defense force, thereby always maintaining security and safety of Dung Quat oil refinery project.
Major General Tran Van Xo emphasized: Dung Quat oil refinery is a large economic base in the Central Coast, the work of protecting security and safety for the plant has been carefully planned and synchronously operated.
Major General requested the forces that regularly protect the plant to uphold the spirit of vigilance and example, and to well observe the rules and regulations to protect the safe and stable operation of Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
