To kick off land acquisition of Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road project

It is reported that localities have so far approved 14 compensation plans and have handed over to investors about 15% of the total ground area. 

Detailed plans (scale: 1/500) of all resettlement areas have been already approved.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Phuoc Hien, directed the Management Board (MB) to urgently develop a detailed plan and  ensure the timely completion.

MB was requested to coordinate with the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Justice and localities in licensing sand mines for construction works.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment will urgently work with the Appraisal Council of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to agree on a dossier to submit to the Prime Minister for permission to change the purpose of using rice land.

Relevant departments and localities are requested to proactively formulate compensation plans, and focus on works of compensation, resettlement, and progress planning.

The Department of Transport is directed to ensure the disbursement as scheduled.

Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road project has a total investment of about 3,500 billion VND, using the fund from the Central capital and Quang Ngai province’s budget.

The road has a total length of 26.88 km (including 9 bridges), with the starting point connecting to Tri Binh - Dung Quat road (in Binh Son district) and the ending point connecting to the Hoang Sa road.

The project passes through Binh Son, Son Tinh and Quang Ngai city. The total construction area of the road is about 164.5 hectares. The project will construct 10 resettlement areas with a total area of about 27.39 hectares and 1 grave reburial area for about 1,160 graves.

Once accomplished, the project will contribute to perfecting the road traffic network of Quang Ngai province, and  forming an important traffic axis of the province connecting quickly and conveniently from Chu Lai airport, Dung Quat economic zone to Quang Ngai city and southern localities.
