The Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2024 wraps up

In the evening of April 5, in Nghia Hanh district, the closing ceremony of Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2024 was held. 
Attending the ceremony were Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Tan Duc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Tran Hoa, and representatives of leaders of the province's departments and sectors.
The Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2024 was held from April 27th to May 5th with a series of cultural, sports, and tourism events on Ly Son Island.
Specific activities include a seminar on “Developing rural and community tourism in Quang Ngai Province – opportunities and prospects”, the Feast and Commemoration Festival for Hoàng Sa Soldiers, the traditional boat race. the Quang Ngai Province Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament, the exhibition of maritime and island cultural heritage, the festival “Every OCOP product is a story” and the agricultural community tourism space.
Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2024 aims to showcase and promote the beauty of the homeland, the nation, and the people of Quang Ngai in general, and Ly Son island in particular; contributing to stimulating and attracting tourism, and promoting the socio-economic development of the province in 2024 and the years ahead.
On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 4 individuals who have made many contributions to organizing activities of Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2024.
The Organizing Board also awarded prizes for teams participating in the Festival "Each OCOP product is a story" and the agricultural and rural community tourism space 2024.
