The Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee organizes its first meeting

PPC's Standing Vice Chairman, Tran Hoang Tuan, and Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Hien, chaired the meeting On March 21, the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee held its first meeting to listen to reports and give opinions on the results of digital transformation in 2023, and deploy key tasks and solutions in 2024. 
The meeting was delivered online to the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities.
It is reported that in 2023, the province's information system for handling administrative procedures was connected and integrated with 14 databases and information systems of ministries and branches.
The results of online application submission and online payment had a high growth rate compared to 2022.
The document management and administration system were expanded to 3 more agencies and units.
Processing documents on the network environment in provincial level reached 99%, district level 85.3%, and commune level over 65.3%.
They also completed the connection and sharing of national land data as required by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
At the meeting, representatives of a number of localities, departments, agencies, and units raised some difficulties and limitations in digital transformation work.
They also proposed and recommended necessary mechanisms and policies to contribute to promoting digital transformation in the coming time.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Hoang Tuan, praised the results achieved in digital transformation work.
However, the digital transformation work in the province still faces many difficulties in terms of resources, people, equipment, and software.
He asked them to focus on exploiting and sharing databases, updating shared software from the Central Government, Ministries and branches.
Relevant units are directed to review digital transformation tasks in 2024, prioritize the implementation of important and necessary tasks, pay attention to fully updating and digitizing the results of resolving administrative procedures and reusing the digitized results.
