The free eye surgery program for patients in the province

The program of free eye surgery and vitreous replacement by Phaco method is sponsored by Thien Tam Fund - belonging to Vingroup and Alina eye hospital social enterprise company Ltd., (Alina).

Accordingly, Alina collaborated with Quang Ngai Eye Center to conduct free cataract surgery by Phaco method for 200 patients in the province.

It is expected that from July to November 2023, the program will operate on 500 patients, with a total cost of 1.25 billion VND. This is the third time that Alina has participated in sponsoring and implementing an eye surgery program in Quang Ngai. Previously, Alina successfully participated in free eye surgery for 400 patients in 2021 and 2022.

The program has contributed to bringing light to many people with cataracts in the province.
