Quang Ngai reviews workers from nCoV epidemic areas

The review of foreign workers from epidemic areas will be conducted in Dung Quat Economic Zone, industrial parks and companies, enterprises in the province.
On February 9, the Quang Ngai Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that, under the direction of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, the Department is coordinating with the related departments and sectors to work with some enterprises in order to know the number of foreign employees, especially checking businesses using laborers from the nCoV epidemic areas.

At Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, the total number of foreign workers working at the company after Tet is 946 people. Among them, 308 stayed in Quang Ngai for enjoying Tet, 46 people returned to Quang Ngai after the Tet holiday and 592 people have not returned.
At Hiep Ich Vietnam Co., Ltd., there are 4 foreign workers. Among them, 03 workers have returned to Quang Ngai to work after Tet. Currently, these 03 workers are isolated at home.
According to the initial result, enterprises have specified the number of foreign workers working at the enterprise. Particularly at Hoa Phat Steel Joint Stock Company, currently, 18 workers are isolated to ensure the conditions as prescribed.
Particularly for cases of isolation at home, the inspection team requested functional agencies to strengthen monitoring and supervision measures if there are suspected symptoms requiring isolation and medical monitoring in accordance with regulations of the provincial People's Committee.

According to the decision of the provincial People's Committee, in the next few days, 3 teams of checking and reviewing foreign workers from the nCoV epidemic areas will continue to inspect and review foreign workers working at enterprises in Dung Quat economic zone and Binh Son district, VSIP industrial park, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai city, Tu Nghia district, Mo Duc, Duc Pho and Nghia Hanh.
According to statistics, there are many enterprises in Quang Ngai province using foreign laborers, of which there are about 2,200 Chinese laborers.
