CoV supplements the Nutrition Food Support Program

Children of Vietnam Organization (CoV) has just committed to supplement the Nutrition Food Support Program for semi-boarding preschool pupils in mountainous districts of Quang Ngai province. 
Accordingly, CoV will provide 3 containers of nutritious rice (18 tons of nutritious rice/container) worth 5.8 billion VND. This additional program will be implemented in the period of 2022 - 2023.
Currently, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is coordinating with relevant functional agencies to complete procedures and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval before implementation.
CoV is a foreign non-governmental organization, US nationality, with a Certificate of Registration for the establishment of a Project Office in Vietnam issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; operating in the fields of medical support, education, vocational training and community development in 03 localities of Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai.
The projects funded by CoV in the province have been highly practical, contributing to the improvement of malnutrition in children, especially reducing the rate of stunting and under-nutrition children from 3 to 5 years old, supporting mountainous districts to overcome difficulties on facilities in the education sector.
